JDI Technologies New GOLDX™ PowerCore™ System Makes Connectivity Simple

New system integrates a number of technologies into one manageable and expandable system

Auburn Hills, MI (November 20, 2002) – JDI Technologies, a leader in providing superior connectivity and computer peripheral devices, today announced the launch of the GoldX™ PowerCore™ System, which offers consumers a stackable solution to workstation clutter.

The GoldX™ PowerCore™ System eliminates the maze of cables, adapters and devices hanging from most PCs and places them into one neat system. It allows you to expand the number of USB/FireWire peripherals you have, connect multiple computers via local, LAN or broadband Internet connections and save outlet space used by power bricks within one solution.

In addition, the GoldX™ PowerCore™ System saves on outlets and desktop space. The internal DC power supply provides power for up to 20 Ethernet, 16 USB or 12 FireWire ports. It also integrates the power supply for these modules within the base, providing both power and protection for computer peripherals.

The GoldX™ PowerCore™ System also can save you money if you experience a surge. If the computer power protection needs to be replaced, the surge module can be swapped out and replaced, saving users up to 75% on their long-term replacement costs and eliminating the need for most DC power adapters and DC power cables.
